Municipal Deposits on a levy statement

Municipal Deposits on a levy statement

In specific complexes, the municipal deposit on your first levy statement is a once off charge for your portion to contribute to the bulk municipal deposit that the city council is holding for the body corporate’s water and electricity account.

This is an amount that will be refunded to you, should you decide to sell the unit in the future, then the next owner will be billed for the deposit.
